5/1-5/11/2010

May 1,2010 Well Bill wanted to start this report saying Thank you to ALL his return customers this year he will be running 2 boats this year a 35' donzi and a 23' Hydrosport Tunnel hull Bay Bolt Tournament boat for Galveston Bay Fishing and all the new people we are now booking for all our boats Thank you . Hopefully he can stay up to your expectations. Now on to Fishing Captain Chad had 2 really good groups yesterday wind blowing but, not a bad day fishing at the jetties catching bullreds. a few slots.2 puppy drum, and 6 sheephead, 1 6lb. sand trout very nice. May 2 2010 what a wind tunnel today had capt.Nathan out and Capt.Chad on the scarab fishing was hard today but, landed bullreds, slots, puppy drum, gafftop sails,a few trout today not many. Lot of wind. May 3,2010 We have had some great seas so far this week. Offshore and Bluewater trips are heating up. Mondays trips consisted of some huge catch and release red snapper,3 ling that went to roughly around 30lbs.,kingfish everywhere and some decent blacktip sharks comming in from 50 mile trips, Now bluewater everything is hitting Captain Bill did a catch and release something he doesn't normally do but, actually liked it just odd he is a catcher keeper hahaha boated a nice wahoo around 80lbs his personal best this year and 1 grouper not huge around 40lbs., limits of kingfish, caught a good shark trolling actually for wahoo around 8' hammerhead, many amberjack but, this was all catch and release. Till next time. May 3-11,2010 Sorry about the late reports we have been running alot of trips lately. Out at the jetties we have been bringing in Bullreds, slot reds and sand trout and a few specs. On the bay Trips mostly slot reds , sands and specs and spotty catch's of flounder still around the grass fronts. Offshore have had some great catchs of ling, kingfish, big legal sharks up to 6' blacktips when the winds permit a trip.

Captain Bill had a Great trip today biggest snapper 18lbs and kingfish couldn't find any ling home and no weedlines. These people caught on very quickly and could really feel out the bites.

June 20,2009
Had two half day trips One produced redfish and lots of baby sharks I have never seen so many baby sharks all different kinds, scallops, hammerhead, blacktip all small. You can really tell now though that the morning bite is the best right now The bay waters are really starting to heat . The second part of the day was hard fishing as the sun had time to bake us all Had a great bunch of people both trips The kiddo got his redfish and reeled it in all by hisself. It was great to see that.

June 21,2009
Had a very nice group of people owners of Aztec communications Happy fathers day Rudy. Sunday was pretty hard fishing I believe for all the boats out hardly saw anyone picking up fish. Luckily never a empty cooler on my boat trips we boated a few speckled trout and 1 Bullred missed a good one would have been 42" at least spit the hook at the boat. Again lots of shark everywhere.

Galveston Bay Offshore Deep Sea Fishing Reports

April 27, 2009

Well, was a nice morning this morning with winds picking up around 12:00pm today. Turned out to be a fairly good fishing morning bringing in 2 boats full limits of bullreds tagged, about 10 gaftop between the two boats,a few sheephead although they were scattered and you kind of had to search for them. A few sand trout were caught, along with some keeper red fish. I would say a pretty good morning for a 4hr. fishing trip. It is starting to cloud up outside in galveston but, after this storm passes it should be a pretty good week for fishing, waters are definitly heating up and the sharks are starting to venture in feeding on just about anything. I believe offshore or bay fishing should offer some good fishing this week ending our week with Tuna so captain Dan should be bringing us in some good photo's of what is going on in the deeper waters of the gulf.Looks like the weather will be more of what we like to fish in.

Sunday, April 26, 2009
while we had some descent fishing days earlier this past week bringing in Red fish, trout, drum, sharks and a few king fish in near shore waters, Offshore was definitly a go maybe 2 days at the begining of the week bringing in some nice kingfish, shark, fat vermillion snapper and a few good size lane snapper and some very nice amberjack. Sure enough come Sat here came the winds. Rest assured when you book with us will not run you out in bad seas or weather we want you to have a good time with us and catch fish not try to hang on the whole time. April 21,2009 Galveston Bay Fishing,Galveston Beachfront, Hello Everyone been a slow month although the fish are definitly there but, we have been kept in from rain and very high winds running trips as the weather let's us. The sharks are now in around the Galveston Beachfront and San Luis pass area the big bullreds are plentiful and so are the drum and sheephead. Remember when booking if you do not book a shark trip and you get one your captain may or may not bring the shark gaff. Had this happen yesterday they caught about 10 Big shark blacktip but,he didn't bring his shark gaft so all they could do was catch and release because they booked a bay trip which targets redfish, sheephead, small shark and When snapper opens up we are seeing some big ones out, June 1st cannot get here soon enough they are thick. We are now booking the kingfish/shark trips climb aboard Tight Lines Master Captain Bill Captain Jesse Captain Mike Captain Joel Workingman Charters Galveston Deep Sea Fishing charters and Bay Guides from Galveston Texas.
